New phone system
It’s been two weeks since the practice switched from the old telephone system with BT to our new system with Surgery Connect – a brand new telephone system which seems to be going really well.
We’ve had positive feedback from patients and calls are coming through faster – our average wait time is currently 4 minutes and 3 seconds.
All calls are recorded and we have a new feature which allows patients to request a call back if the lines are busy – instead of waiting on hold, the phone system can keep your place in the queue and then call you back when you reach position number 1.
